Cross-Operator Alerts

Instant communication across all OEMs. When an incident occurs, alerts go out to every technician nearby — regardless of company — closing the response gap between all operators

Smart Geofencing

Automatic presence logging, zero admin. Technicians are automatically checked in and out of regions using geofencing, so safety teams always know who’s on-site — without manual reporting or battery drain.

One-Touch SOS

Press and hold — help is on the way. A three-second hold sends an SOS with GPS coordinates, turbine ID, and contact details to nearby users, EHS leads, and control centres simultaneously.

Live Coordination Map

Real-time situational awareness. The sender instantly sees who accepted, where they are, and their ETA — giving full visibility until help arrives.

Built with direct input from technicians and safety teams, WERN’s design focuses on reliability, real-world use, and GDPR-compliant data handling.

No. WERN only records geofence entry and exit events — like when a technician arrives at or leaves a turbine site. Exact location is only shared during an active SOS or when someone accepts to respond.

Not at all. WERN uses low-power geofencing and native background services. It’s been tested for multi-day field use with minimal power impact.

Alerts go out via push + SMS + email to maximise reach; critical attention behaviour follows each platform’s policies and capabilities. 

Nearby technicians within a set radius (typically 20–60 km) across all participating operators. The alert also reaches control centres and EHS contacts depending on company configuration.

If mobile coverage drops, the app caches the SOS event and re-transmits automatically once signal returns. It’s also supported by SMS and email fallbacks for redundancy.

WERN is fully GDPR-compliant. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), stored on Microsoft Azure within the EU, and retained only as long as operationally required.

WERN is cross-operator and neutral, designed to notify whoever is closest, regardless of company. That’s the gap current tools don’t fill.
